DIY Face masks For All Skin Types

Here at Wake Up & Glow we offer facials where you leave feeling glowing, and have a chance to try all of our products (which you can book here), however, we all know everyone loves a good at home face mask! We have compiled some great DIY masks for all skin types so read on to see which is best for you!

Acne: Add in 1 teaspoon of honey followed by 2 tablespoons of milk. You can add in more milk if you feel the mask isn’t spreadable. Mix the mask really well and apply it on your skin with a brush for proper application. After 30 minutes, wet your face and massage gently. Rinse off with cold water and pat dry

Oily Skin: Take 3 tbsp. of gram flour and mix it with curd to make a smooth paste like a face mask. You can also add half tsp. of turmeric for added advantages. Now apply this paste on your face and neck for half an hour. This face mask will remove tan and will also prevent oil from your face. It also clears acne marks when used 2-3 times a week.

Wrinkles: To make this face mask, you need 1 teaspoon of fresh aloe vera gel, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 tsp of coconut oil. Mix everything together. Apply the mixture to areas where wrinkles are forming. Leave it on half an hour and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this once every 3 days for good results

Dry Skin: To make a hydrating and moisturizing mask for dry skin, mash one banana and add in little honey. Mix the two ingredients really well such that there are no banana lumps in it. Apply the mask evenly on the face and keep it for 30 minutes. Wipe it off and wash your face

Pigmentation: Finley grate a potato and add a bit of honey and powdered oats, mix well and apply to face, leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
