Calgary has finally gotten it’s act together and stopped with the snow, and given us the most beautiful fall weather we could ever hope for. Fall is such a great season, and we are so glad to live in a place that actually gets to experience all of the seasons; there is just something so cozy about the crisp air, and the orange scenery that puts us at ease. So, with the snow gone, and the sun out, it has inspired us to share all of our favourite fall things to do around Calgary.
So a Pumpkin Spice Latter is definitely a staple in our fall morning routine, but we know how hard on the wallet those glorious Starbucks ones can be, so we make our own version!
YOU WILL NEED
2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1 to 3 tablespoons sugar, depending on how sweet you like it
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving
1/2 cup strong hot coffee
Whipped cream, for serving
Add milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot, but do not boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and the coffee.
Divide the mixture between two mugs. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

We all love heading down to Fish Creek Provincial park to go for a walk and be in Nature, the boys love riding their bikes and going on adventures! If you haven’t been to Fish Creek and live in the Calgary area, we highly suggest going for a walk through and taking in the beauty of the park.
This next thing we love for fall, we actually love all year round, but especially during the fall! That is Yoga- it’s a great way to escape the business and focus on yourself for an hour. Practicing hot Yoga at Breathe in Mckenzie and Avenida is our favourite, they give you a Lemongrass towel at the end that is so refreshing and really is one of the best parts of the practice!
We hope you will share with us what you love to do during the fall by commenting below!
