Wake Up & Glow officially began in 2017, but the story started many years before that.

In 2011, I had my fourth baby, lost my sister, and moved my boutique into a new location - all in the same year. Life was full, beautiful, and incredibly overwhelming. I was a young mom of four, doing my best to hold everything together while quietly carrying more than I knew how to.

In the middle of that season of grief, I found yoga.

I remember crying on the drive there. Every morning I'd show up, move through the poses, and quietly let myself feel everything I had been holding onto. At the end of each class, we'd be handed cool lemongrass towels - a simple ritual that somehow felt like a deep breath. I'd leave feeling just a little stronger, a little more grounded, and a little more capable of facing the day.

That quiet rhythm became the beginning of my healing. It led me to aromatherapy, botanical ingredients, mindful living - and eventually, Wake Up & Glow.

It Started With One Product

I never dreamed of creating a skincare brand. I simply wanted one product I could completely trust.

As a licensed esthetician with more than 25 years of experience, I'd worked with countless products and skin types. But nothing truly reflected the way I wanted to care for my own skin, simple, effective, botanical, and thoughtfully formulated.

I wanted something that could nourish my skin, hair, and nails without unnecessary fillers or complicated routines.

When I couldn't find it, I created it.

The Beginning of Prickly Pear Glow Oil

Discovering prickly pear seed oil changed everything.

After years of research and formulation, I knew I had found something extraordinary. Rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamins, trace minerals, and phytonutrients, it offered exactly what I had been searching for.

Rather than creating a formula with dozens of ingredients, I chose a carefully balanced blend of complementary botanical oils, healing herbs, and essential oils - each one selected to support and enhance the remarkable benefits of prickly pear, never overpower it.

No fillers.
No shortcuts.
Just purposeful botanicals that work beautifully together.

That became my very first product - a multi-tasking botanical oil for the skin, hair, and nails.

For the first year and a half, it was the only product Wake Up & Glow offered because I believed in doing one thing exceptionally well before creating anything else.

Today, it remains the heart of the collection.

Years before prickly pear became widely recognized, I believed in its incredible potential - and I'm grateful that so many of you continue to love it as much as I do.
