With Spring Break here a lot of you may be gearing up to take your kids on a trip, or to fill the days with activities to keep them busy! But I want to talk about how important is is to take Vacations without the kids!

Don’t get me wrong, I adore spending time with my kids so much, but I also know how important it is to have an “Adults Trip” not centred around kid’s schedules. With younger ones it’s working around bed time, nap time, lunch time, and everything in between, so often times it becomes less of a relaxing vacation!

Recently, my Husband and I took a trip sans kids to Mexico!! With no timeline or schedule to abide by, our vacation was so relaxing and the perfect reset needed to come back home (to the snow) and be the best parents to our 4 kids!

Now that we have been home for a little bit, it is time to pack up again and take the kids to Phoenix for Spring Break! We love going to Arizona for spring vacation, visiting family, swimming, golfing, and relaxing! We are so fortunate that we are able to take two warm weather vacations this month, and escape the cold (even though Calgary is finally warming up!) However, getting so much sun, we need to be very aware of keeping our skin safe! I always wear a hat and sunglasse! I NEVER forget sunscreen. My favourite sun products are Rodan + Fields; the body sunscreen doesn’t leave my skin greasy, the mineral sunscreen is perfect for my face, and for the kids, and of course never forget about the lip shield to prevent sun blisters!

To take care of my skin after being in the sun, I always apply Wake Up & Glow-Prickly Pear Oil; not only will this soothe your skin, it will also replenish any lost nutrients leaving your skin refreshed and hydrated.
