The New Year is a great time to start fresh, many people decide to begin a new exercise routine, a new diet, or even learn a new skill! For us, we are all about refreshing our skin care routine. Let’s face it, Alberta winter’s can be harsh on our skin, and we need to be doing everything we can to prevent dryness and keep our skin looking hydrated and glowing!
Follow this step by step routine we’ve created to keep your skin looking it’s best through the next few months of winter!
Oil Based Cleanser, we like this one.
Traditional cleanser like this one.
Exfoliate 3 to 4 times a week. Like this one.
Wake Up & Tone (only 3 times per week for dry skin)
Moisturizer with SPF (even in the winter this is so important)
There are certain steps here you can do differently if you have something that is really working for your skin, however, the one step we would never miss is finishing every skincare routine with Wake Up & Glow and an SPF Moisturizer. Wake Up & Glow contains a natural hylauranic acid which is extremely moisturizing. Sometimes when you think of an “acid” you might think this is harsh and stripping, however, hylauranic acid has the exact opposite effect. Hylauranic acid is a powerful humectant (aka moisture-binding ingredient) that keeps skin plump, hydrated and, young-looking!
Due to popular demand, we are adding a new 25 minute peel; it will be a cleanse, Wake Up & Renew Mask, med grade peel, hot towels and as always, finished off with Wake Up & Glow. This will be $50 and your skin will look like a million bucks! We suggest everyone come in for some sort of facial to get your skin to where it should be, so your facial routine is going to be most effective! You can find our facial availability here and book online!
